He was born in Konya in 1974. He started his education in the year 1980 in Cyprus. He graduated from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Selçuk University and completed his master’s degree (2006) and doctor’s degree (2010) there too. Currently he works as a lecturer at Necmettin Erbakan University.
His first short story appeared in the literature magazine Dergâh in 1995. He was chosen as “Short Story Writer of the Year” by Türkiye Yazarlar Birliği through his work Yerlere Göklere which was published in 2007.
